After making the mistake of ordering a TV remote control from Haband, I found it to be a piece of junk! I returned it for a refund, which was eventually credited back to my Mastercard. They refunded the price of the item only, and not the postage costs either way. The postage costs were more than the item itself. A few weeks later, I received a check in the mail for $8.25. Thinking it to be a refund for the postage, I ALMOST cashed it without reading the fine print!!!
It turned out that I would have been enrolled in some BOGUS discount plan that would have cost me $159.99 per year and would automatically renew eqach year afterward!!! This company is indeed a rip-off and may be sharing your credit card information with others and enrolling you in all kinds of phony plans! BEWARE

After charging several oders to my crdit card and paying the bill i got another charge from Haband, called haband Perks $14.95. When I called them they told me with this a could get discounts at stores and resterants. I demanded they take that charge off, which they finally did. What a bad experance, will never deal with them again. Bob S.

I could not be more upset, annoyed, scared, just feeling totally taken advantage of. I had just gotten home from a very serious not to mention very terrifying and negative Doctor apt. I immediately got on the computer checking my mail etc. and there was the add for Everyday Privileges Gold. Due to my recent brain injury, I can't remember what it said word for word but I do remember a guarantee for discounts on any and every possible shopping store and restaurant I was interested in. Also being able to buy gift certificates for almost half the price. All I had to do was pay a dollar and it was mine free for a one month trial along with a gift for joining. Yeah right! A check that if you cashed without reading all of you are basically signing your credit card number and a chunk of money monthly whether you use the "benefits" or not. Because I hadn't used the "benefits", it was $15.99 and then there is the large yearly fee they take. My quote over the phone was %159.95, in the letter sent it was $169.95. All and all, I was fed up!! When I called to try and cancel, the woman wouldn't let me. She kept talking over me, cutting me off mid sentence. After a half hour of what I knew was another loosing battle I got her to tell me the next time/day the card would be charged so I knew how long I had to cancel. The fact of the matter was she knew she was dealing with someone who due to a recent car accident had a severe brain injury, along with many other tragic injuries but so I got confused or thrown off easily. So she just kept talking over me when I was trying to get my thoughts/points across. By doing so I would get confused on what I had already said, and what I was still trying to say. I have made stupid mistakes on the computer before due to learning all over again. Seriously though this was by far the biggest let down to date!! Oh and most definitely the most non compassionate people I've ever done business with.

People don't have the time or to dumb and they know that to rip you off. On the back of the check it says this:

"By cashing this check I agree to a thirty-day trial offer in Everyday Privileges Gold. I understand that my membership will be automatically extended for an additional eleven months and this $159.99 annual membership fee will be automatically billed to the card I used for my last Haband order, without my having to do anything further, unless I cancel my membership by calling 1-877-266-9516 before the end of the trial period. At the end of my first year, my membership will be automatically renewed at the $169.99 annual fee for the next twelve months and I will also be billed every year thereafter at the then-current fee unless I call to cancel for a refund of the unused portion of the current year's fee. I authorize Haband to securely transfer my payment information to Everyday Privileges Gold for enrollment, billing and benefit processing and I authorize Everyday Privileges Gold to bill the annual membership fee after my thirty-day trial.

It all says it there. If people don't see it they will be $170 every year! There is there phone number to call and I did it for my Mom. They are giving about $100 back for the unused part in 7 to 10 days.
